I recentely stumbled upon this nice little browser based RPG.

You might want to give it a try :)

“You proceed down the darkend passage with caution. What forced you to descend into this horrid crypt? Was it the map you purchased from the old man at the marketplace? For what you paid, it surely must hide the secrets to a vast treasure! As you push onward deeper into the dungeon, you begin to wonder if the old man has tricked you out of your hard-earned gold.”

TwoKinds

TwoKinds is an ongoing manga-styled webcomic that involves a human named Trace Legacy, a previous Grand Templar and guardian of the land, and Flora, a Keidran. After losing his memory in a mysterious battle, Trace finds himself in the company of Flora, who, as Trace gradually begins to learn, belongs to a race of people who are enemies of his kind. As friendship conflicts with racial differences, Trace and Flora find themselves in a situation more critical then either of them can imagine. (Text from wikipedia)

The noobThe N00b is a tongue-in-cheek jab at the world of Massive Multiplayer Online Gaming. Our protagonist is a newbie who has just embarked on an adventure in the world of Clichquest, a cumulative parody of games like Worlds of Warcraft and Ultima Online. While the rougher language may turn a few people off, the Noob’s writing is ingeniously funny and more than make up for any shortcomings in any other department. (Text from Webcomic Finds)

OOTS imageThe Order of the Stick, nicknamed OotS, is a comedic fantasy webcomic based on the genre of pen and paper roleplaying games. The comic is drawn and authored in a deliberate stick figure style by Rich Burlew, a graphic designer and game designer living in Philadelphia.

A significant portion of the humor of the strip is based on the characters being aware of the game rules which govern their lives—they discuss their hit points, their class levels, the chances of random encounters, and stop in the middle of combat to check their “to hit” modifiers. The players actually role-playing the characters are never seen or referred to. The characters also appear to be aware that they are characters in a comic strip. (text from wikipedia)

Changes…

Hi there!

Due to lack of updates (and administration), I’ve decided to put aside my old homepage (www.northy.de) and start a blog instead. Most of the people that visit this site know me anyway, so I probably don’t need to introduce myself. In case you came here by accident or by following a link and are interested in who the person behind this blog is, feel free to read more about me on the About-page (on top of this website or via the menu on the right) or by contacting me (Contact-page). :)
